Q: How much material can I place in the skip?
A: The law requires that all skips/ skip bags be level- loaded. Please do not fill passed the fill in line- if the skip is overloaded we cannot transport it and you will be subject to additional costs.
Q: How long can I keep the skip for?
A: The steel skips are hired to you for three days including the day of delivery. This period can be extended to suit your needs. You can give the skip bags for however long you require them, once the collection is booked please allow three working days for collection.
Q: Do I require a permit?
A: Skips: Permits are required by most local councils for skips that need to be placed on public land, including footpaths or on the road outside your property.
If the skip is being placed o n your private property, you do not need a permit.
Skipbags: A Skipbag does not need a permit, but you must keep the bag on your property, when filling the bag please ensure you position the bag to enable the truck to lift the bag from the outside road.
